Acceptable Use & Content Policy

1. Purpose

1.1 This Acceptable Use & Content Policy (“Policy”) governs the standards and rules applicable to all content uploaded, shared, or displayed on the Bucksshot mobile application (“Platform”), which is owned and operated by KH Technologies (Pty) Ltd (“KH Technologies”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

1.2 This Policy forms part of and must be read together with the Terms of Service. By using the Platform, users agree to comply with this Policy.

2. User Responsibility for Content

2.1 Users are solely responsible for all content they upload, publish, edit, or share on the Platform, including:

• 2.1.1 Trophy placement details

• 2.1.2 Species identification

• 2.1.3 Horn length, antler length, and weight

• 2.1.4 Narratives or stories relating to hunts

• 2.1.5 Location descriptions

• 2.1.6 Photographs, videos, and other media
  

2.2 The Platform does not verify or certify the accuracy, legality, or authenticity of any user content.

3. Lawful Hunting and Regulatory Compliance

3.1 Users must ensure that all trophies and hunts represented on the Platform comply with all applicable hunting, conservation, and wildlife laws in the relevant jurisdiction.

3.2 Users may not upload content that:

• 3.2.1 Relates to unlawful hunting activities

• 3.2.2 Depicts protected or endangered species without lawful authorisation

• 3.2.3 Encourages or promotes illegal hunting practices

3.3 The Platform may remove any content that raises regulatory or legal concerns.

4. Accuracy and Authenticity of Information

4.1 All information provided in a trophy placement must be truthful, accurate, and not misleading.

4.2 This includes, but is not limited to:

• 4.2.1 Species identification

• 4.2.2 Trophy measurements (horn length, antler length, and weight)

• 4.2.3 Narrative descriptions of the hunt

• 4.2.4 Location information

4.3 Users must not exaggerate, falsify, or materially misrepresent any aspect of a hunt or trophy.

5. Artificial Intelligence and Synthetic Content

5.1 Users may utilise artificial intelligence tools to assist with drafting narratives or editing content, provided that all information remains accurate and not misleading.

5.2 Users are strictly prohibited from:

• 5.2.1 Uploading AI-generated or synthetic images that falsely depict a trophy or hunt

• 5.2.2 Altering or inflating trophy measurements through AI or digital manipulation

• 5.2.3 Creating fabricated hunt narratives presented as factual events

• 5.2.4 Using AI-generated content that misrepresents the species, legality, authenticity, or circumstances of a hunt

5.3 All content must reflect real-world, lawful hunting events and actual trophies.

6. Prohibited Content

6.1 Users may not upload, publish, or share content that:

• 6.1.1 Is unlawful or promotes unlawful conduct

• 6.1.2 Is false, misleading, or deceptive

• 6.1.3 Is defamatory, abusive, or harassing toward any person or organisation

• 6.1.4 Infringes intellectual property or privacy rights

• 6.1.5 Contains graphic, violent, or disturbing imagery unsuitable for general viewing

• 6.1.6 Impersonates another person or misattributes a hunt to someone else

  
  

7. Privacy and Personal Information

7.1 Users must ensure that any personal information included in placements (including names of other individuals, outfitters, or guides) is shared lawfully and with appropriate consent where required.

7.2 Users may not publish personal information of third parties in a manner that violates applicable data protection or privacy laws.

8. Editing of Content

8.1 Users may edit their trophy placements after publication. However, users remain responsible for ensuring that all edited content remains accurate, lawful, and compliant with this Policy.

8.2 Users must not use edits to:

• 8.2.1 Alter the factual nature of a hunt after sharing

• 8.2.2 Mislead viewers who accessed earlier versions of the placement

• 8.2.3 Conceal unlawful or inaccurate information
  

9. Sharing and Use of Barcode Identifiers

9.1 Barcode identifiers may be shared only for lawful and legitimate purposes.

9.2 Users may not:

• 9.2.1 Sell or commercially exploit access to placements via barcodes

• 9.2.2 Share placements in a manner that is misleading or unlawful

• 9.2.3 Use barcode access to harass, defame, or misrepresent other users
  

10. Enforcement Rights

10.1 KH Technologies reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to:

• 10.1.1 Remove or restrict access to any content that violates this Policy

• 10.1.2 Suspend or terminate user accounts for repeated or serious breaches

• 10.1.3 Request supporting documentation to verify content authenticity

• 10.1.4 Take any action necessary to mitigate legal, regulatory, or reputational risk
  

10.2 The Platform is not obliged to adjudicate disputes between users.

11. Reporting Violations

11.1 Any person may report content believed to be unlawful, inaccurate, or in breach of this Policy through the in-app reporting mechanism or designated contact channel.

11.2 Reports must include sufficient detail to enable investigation.

12. Consequences of Breach

12.1 Failure to comply with this Policy may result in:

• 12.1.1 Removal of offending content

• 12.1.2 Suspension or termination of the user’s account

• 12.1.3 Restriction of access to Platform services

• 12.1.4 Referral to relevant authorities where unlawful conduct is suspected
  

12.2 No refunds will be granted in respect of placements removed pursuant to this clause.

13. Amendments

13.1
This Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
